WHAT'S NEW
I'm very excited about this new series of paintings. They are richly
layered, with satisfying surfaces that make you want to run your hand
along them. All are painted on stretched canvas so you can do just
that.
These paintings are focused on celebration and redemption.
They
ask for an interweaving of layers, an interplay between shiny, metallic
surfaces and rich darks. What is the Grass? is a child's
question
to Walt Whitman, and I have tried to keep that childish innocence and
joy in the bright colors and patterns. Eclipse is about mystery, as is
Resurrection and One World.
I am still working on this series and will be adding more paintings
soon.
